Heads up! The Tits are on Telly this Weekend

Hahahaha!
Don’t you just hate getting lured in like that?
We aren’t being crude when we say we’re getting
our tits out this weekend!
We mean the garden bird variety, of course!

Been busy gearing up for the shows on Hochanda.
Sunday 2-4 with Tina.
She will blow you away with her artwork, guaranteed.

Then you’ve got an hour of me stamping and stencilling, 5-6pm
Bunny wabbits are the order of the day.

And at 8pm I am very excited to be launching a whole collection of superb Groovi Word Chains, AND a funky ABC to match.

At a very, very keen price too.

So many people asked for the Clarity Word Chain Stamps
to be made into Groovi, so we did.

A real pleasure to use.
I’ll show you a few positioning and layout techniques,

and let’s have another little look at the cutting.

I NEVER EVER thought I would be able to do this kind of parchment work, you know.

Nothing that time, some expert guidance
and regular practice won’t sort out.

It sure feels good when you finally nail it, doesn’t it.

Got to go. Give the old neck a rest.

Love and Hugs,
Barb

  3. Looking forward to seeing the shows and picking up more tips and tricks.
When the word chains came out as stamps they very quickly became the go to set of stamps for most occasions can be covered by them. I think the same will be with the groovi plates. They are fantastic and the alphabet can fill in all the missing words or names and numbers!
Amazing snipping on the bird feeder Barbara. Impressed!
Have a great evening. Love and hugs xxx

  5. Ha, ha, when I read the title my head processed it as twits, and I thought, oh no, Barb is running herself down again!!!! Glad I got that wrong! Reading the email you sent out with the sneaky peaks, my run of no craft spending will be well and truly gone. Well I have lasted since the club sale in January, good going for a Clarity addict eh 😇 I need all the new ones, except the frill one, purely because me not a frilly person, so I'll leave that one on the shelf for someone else, me being the generous kind!!!!!😉 I better crack on with my practise, so I can justify buying them!!!

Really looking forward to Sunday and Monday. Just off to do my wee bit picot practise for today. I've got picot envy every time I see yours!!!! Been doing simple colouring in today, and got 2 light bulbs, one moved my shading on a stage, yay. And the other, well the light bulb has just gone on as to why you get white pencils!!!!! Aye, how long has that taken me Barbara, for that penny to drop!!!! I despair of my stupid Asperger's brain at times!!!! I think I'll be needing your lifetime supply box now!!!! Wonder if my luck will run to third lightbulb, working out where I'm going wrong wih the picot cutting the new scissor hold way! Maybe that's just being greedy!!!!

Hope you and Tina had a good, and happy day together. And you got all sorted for Sunday.
    Love Brenda xx

Wow that's impressive cutting, you have done well. Oh I must get my finger out and do some cutting practice every day!!! Love the fact the tits are getting an outing again, it's getting warmer and they are certainly getting more active in the garden 😂😂😂!!! Lol. What are you like! Word chains in groovi and the letterbox kit, what a treat, I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for us. Hope you have a relaxing evening.

  14. Hi Barb,
I am so looking forward to the shows this weekend. I'm like Brenda, in that I want them all! I'm definitely going to have to have the Groovi word chains and mate that goes with them. Your artwork today is beautiful and using one of my favourite sets of stamps but now in a Groovi then that's another definite! I think I might have to start working again!! Your picot cutting is excellent now too - not that I'm envious of course! Love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope today has been good for you all. Did some white work on the Groovi card I started yesterday and am quite pleased with it. Even did a bit of picot work which could be better! Went out with some friends that I worked with for coffee this afternoon so that was nice. Love and hugs to you all, Alison xxxx

  15. Yippee! My favourite garden birds and the word chains. I will be watching and learning. I want everything. My scalloped circles & squares have arrived today together with the Perga Cutters which I love. I am finding them much easier than the special scissors.

  17. I can't believe you have just done the wordchain alphabet in Groovi! I just got it in stamps recently when you halved the price, but can't justify it in Groovi too. I will have to adapt things by stamping and then tracing. There is more than one way of killing the cat!

  18. Hi Barbara, I'm not sure where my comment disappeared to, perhaps I dreamt that I wrote it. I was congratulating you on another lovely picture, beautifully matched with that fabulous backing paper, but wondering why the tit looked so miserable and ungrateful. Oh I get it, he hasn't got any nuts!!
Looking forward to the weekend shows, hope all goes well,
    Love from Judy xx
