A Gallery of Loveliness...

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in.
Saturday it is then!

Swang over to Medway to have breakfast with Mum and Dad this morning, which is always a pleasure, never a chore.

Then came home, strong coffee, packed all the gear for the TV shows tomorrow - which I am really stoked about , as my kids would say!
Stoked in the urban dictionary:

"stoked" - adjective - to be "stoked" is to be completely and intensely enthusiastic, exhilirated, or excited about something. those who are stoked all of the time know this; being stoked is the epitome of all being.
when one is stoked, there is no limit to what one can do.

So that’s it. I am stoked about the shows because I am stoked about the stencils I showed you yesterday and the stamps here today!
As I told you yesterday, I drew the new set, so I’m stoked that they came out so well too.
We’ve got snowdrops, tulips, roses and poppies now, and
also a set of very Rennie Mackintoshesque flowers, panels and corners.
Jim then topped the collection off with a super set of art nouveau sentiments. So all in all, one of the most verstaile and interesting stamp collections to come out of Clarity in a while.

And the aperture stencil?
Watch tomorrow and I’ll tell you all about it.

In the meantime, please allow me to showcase some wonderful art samples from our über-talented Design team. You know you’ve hit the stamp design jackpot, when samples like these come pouring through the door...

There are so many beautiful art samples to show off tomorrow! These are just a taster.
I have got a few cool, not too tricky demos lined up for you too...

So please tune in at 2pm for the first hour, and then if you have to turn over to watch the Six Nations Rugby at 3, you are forgiven. Just hit the record button.
Italy Vs England? I understand, I really do.

Then tune back in at 6pm to watch Linda Williams work her magic, all by herself this time! She is hosting the One Day Special all on her own! And that, my friends, is indeed a feat, a mammoth task. So let’s cheer and clap and help her sell out in record time!
She will smash it I’m sure.

Her Owl Plates are totally delightful, fun and magical.
If you love Groovi Parchment Art, you will fall in love with these owls for sure.

See you tomorrow,
love & hugs,
Barb

  10. I had made up my mind (following a prune of the stamp collection< well I say prune, just a few little snips really) that I really did not need any more stamps, no matter how lovely. How wrong can one girl be? Purchases will be made tomorrow, no question. Rennie MacIntosh style is my all time favourite, so these are not so much a want as a must have.

    2. Hi Gilly,
I think you might know me too well!! I'm working on the theory that as I can't get out too much, I'm saving on clothes, petrol etc and as I'm stuck in the house I need cheering up! I think that's a reasonable way to look at it! I think I know how Pam feels about driving as well. It's over a year since I've driven and I think once I'm able again there will be a bit of trepidation there! Hope you both have a lovely evening. Love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi Chris,
Getting grungy? Bet you had fun. I don't really do grunge but I'm going to attempt a dirty pour tomorrow to do a little canvas as a pressie ( if it's good enough that is!) . No doubt I'll be up to the eyes in paint - that's as close to grunge as I get! Pleased you were happy with your results, love and hugs Alison xxxx
